About Clearwater Boats

Approximately 400 Beaver boats were built between 1970 and 2000 by Ian Graham of Wilderness Boats.

 In 2007 an updated Beaver model was manufactured between then and 2012.

In 2020 Clearwater Boats took over the Beaver 23 moulds, tooling and production with one goal in mind: to take my skills and knowledge in boat building and develop and produce the "New" Beaver 23 further.

We at Clearwater Boats are here to guide you every step of the way and provide you with the tools needed to accomplish your goals and build the boat of your dreams.

Lead by Laurie Lavender who has been building boats for over 35 years. Since 2021 Clearwater Boats have been focusing on the Wilderness Beaver 23. Laurie is supported by a small number of craft people and an administrator.

Our Workshop is based in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire, NG22 8TX.
